Job Title: Statutory Compliance and Safety Manager

DigiKape Resourcing is seeking a highly skilled Statutory Compliance and Safety Manager to join our prestigious client in Wirral. This is an ongoing temporary role with the potential to become permanent.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage statutory compliance, ensuring the organization meets all relevant laws and regulations.
  • Develop and implement health and safety policies, procedures, and training programs to promote a culture of safe working practices.
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with council policies and procedures, as well as legislation.
  • Provide guidance and support to colleagues on health and safety matters, including risk assessments and incident investigations.
  • Collaborate with the senior management team to develop and implement corrective and preventive actions to address any compliance issues.
  • Lead on the provision of health and safety training, information, instruction, and advice to colleagues across the organization.
  • Develop and maintain health and safety documentation, including risk assessments and policies.
  • Deal with health and safety enquiries from internal and external sources, providing effective solutions and advice.
  • Carry out health, safety, and compliance audits, reporting on findings and supporting improvement plans.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in statutory compliance and health and safety management.
  • Strong knowledge of relevant laws and regulations, including health and safety legislation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
