Job Summary

Vox Network Consultants is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Statutory Compliance and Safety Manager to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for providing leadership and expertise in leading the compliance agenda for the Council.

Key Responsibilities
  • Compliance Leadership
    • Develop and implement effective compliance strategies to ensure statutory duties, obligations, official standards, and best practices are met in respect of Gas Servicing, Legionella, Asbestos, Electrical, and other key mechanical services.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with health and safety legislation and landlord and tenant law relating to asset management.
  • Safety Management
    • Develop and implement safety policies and procedures to ensure the safety of colleagues, contractors, and residents.
    • Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with council policies and procedures, as well as legislation.
  • Regulatory Compliance
    • Stay up-to-date with current and emerging health and safety legislation, including approved codes of practice and guidance.
    • Provide expert advice to the senior management team on regulatory compliance and health and safety matters.
  • Team Leadership
    • Lead and manage the assets compliance team to ensure effective delivery of compliance and safety objectives.
    • Develop and implement training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of team members.
Requirements
  • Initial 3 to 6 month ongoing contract with the opportunity to extend.
  • PAYE via Umbrella.
  • Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm.
