We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Clinical Cleaning Specialist to join our team at QE Facilities. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene in our facilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Complete daily, weekly, and periodic cleaning tasks to ensure a clean and safe environment for patients, staff, and visitors.
  • Organize and remove waste materials from designated areas, adhering to defined waste procedures.
  • Carry out sanitary cleaning in all wet areas, including toilets, basins, baths, and shower cubicles.
  • Maintain and replenish cleaning materials and supplies in all designated areas.
  • Respond to requests for remedial cleaning after incidents or accidents in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Report building defects and maintenance needs to ensure prompt remedial action.
  • Maintain all hard floors using machinery and equipment.
  • Complete all relevant documentation to ensure accurate records are kept.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of regulatory and legislative requirements for a healthy and safe environment, including Infection Prevention and Control, Safe Working, Lone Working, COSHH, Food Safety, and Manual Handling.
  • Constructive team working and participation, including multi-disciplinary team relationships.
  • Personal organization and time management with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and use initiative while being part of a team.

Desirable Qualifications

  • Experience working in a domestic or healthcare setting.
  • NVQ or similar qualification.
