Clinical Psychologist

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our team at Cumbria, Northumberland, Tyne and Wear NHS Foundation Trust. As a Clinical Psychologist, you will be responsible for providing specialist assessment and treatment to clients across a range of care settings.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' mental health needs and develop effective treatment plans.
- Provide evidence-based psychological interventions to clients, including individual and group therapy sessions.
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care and support for clients.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of clinical policies and procedures.
- Participate in clinical supervision and peer review to maintain high standards of practice.
- Doctoral level training in clinical psychology, including models of psychopathology, clinical psychometrics, and neuropsychology.
- Substantial post-qualification experience of specialist psychological assessment and treatment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Knowledge of legislation and policies related to mental health care.
