About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Architect to join our team at Penguin Recruitment Ltd. As a Senior Architect, you will be responsible for leading architectural projects from concept to completion, working closely with clients to deliver innovative and expertly crafted designs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead architectural projects, including residential and heritage projects, from concept to completion.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and other professionals.
  • Collaborate with the design team to create innovative and sustainable designs.
  • Manage and mentor junior team members, providing guidance and support to ensure their success.
  • Develop project briefs, present design proposals, and ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices, applying this knowledge to improve our services and deliver exceptional results.

Requirements

  • ARB registered/RIBA qualified.
  • 5-7 years post-Part Three UK-based architectural experience.
  • Proven track record of working on residential and heritage projects.
  • Substantial experience in job running, design, and project management.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or ArchiCAD.
  • Experience working across the RIBA stages.
  • Ideal candidate will have experience working at Senior Level.
