Job Title: Procurement/Supply Chain Manager

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Procurement/Supply Chain Manager to join our team at Laboris Solutions. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading the procurement function and developing strategic relationships with suppliers to secure best-in-class products and services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the procurement process to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of materials and equipment.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key suppliers to negotiate preferential terms and rates.
  • Lead the team in building and maintaining relationships with suppliers, managing purchase order systems, and monitoring product inventory.
  • Collaborate with the Project team to ensure project programs are achieved within agreed timescales and budget.
  • Review and improve procurement processes and procedures to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Line manage a team of three staff members, including a Buyer, Procurement Coordinator, and Logistics Supervisor.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in managing a team and negotiating with suppliers.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • IT proficiency, including experience with procurement software.

Desirable Criteria:

  • Previous experience in the construction industry.
  • Experience with Xero, Costtracker, and Procore.
