We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team at Jonathan Lee Recruitment. As a key member of our engineering and manufacturing recruitment consultancy, you will play a crucial role in sourcing critical automotive parts and services.
About the Role
- Procurement Expertise: Utilize your expertise in procurement to manage the acquisition of high-quality automotive components, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget.
- Supplier Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to negotiate competitive pricing, favorable terms, and top-quality components.
- Supply Chain Optimization: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement in the supply chain, ensuring seamless production runs and product launches.
- Problem-Solving: Employ your analytical skills to resolve supply chain challenges and ensure the highest levels of component quality.
Requirements
- Procurement Expert: Proven ability to secure the best deals while balancing quality, cost, and lead times.
- Analytical Thinker: Proficiency in MS Office, including Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables) and MS Project, with experience working in an MRP/ERP-driven environment.
- Strong Communication: Excellent communication and negotiation skills to effectively manage relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Desirable: Fluency in Mandarin, a valuable asset in managing relationships with global suppliers.
