About the Role

We are seeking compassionate and person-centered Mental Health Care Assistants to join our team at Carestaff Solutions. As a Mental Health Care Assistant, you will work in a hospital secure unit setting, providing high-quality care and support to individuals with mental health needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide person-centered care and support to individuals with mental health needs.
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality care.
  • Support individuals with daily living tasks, such as personal care and medication management.
  • Assist with maintaining a safe and therapeutic environment.
  • Communicate effectively with individuals, families, and colleagues to ensure seamless care delivery.
Requirements
  • Compassionate and empathetic approach to care.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Flexibility and reliability in meeting care needs.
  • PMVA training or willingness to complete.
