About the Role

The JTC Group is seeking a highly skilled Compensation Manager to join our team. As a key member of our HR department, you will play a critical role in supporting our Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) projects across the business and globally.

Main Responsibilities
  • Mergers and Acquisitions
    • Support the Senior Manager with the full HR due diligence process of potential acquisitions, including reviewing employee benefit information, current compensation structures, and general practices, policies, and procedures.
    • Manage the collation and organization of all acquisition data.
    • Assist with benefit harmonization proposals to ensure fairness for JTC existing and incoming employees, ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation as required, specifically those relating to benefits, compensation, and employment rights.
    • Support with any required workforce planning, including identifying critical employees, potential redundancy situations, and key talent plans.
    • Help with the communication to the incoming employees about the transaction, including the impact on their role and compensation package, and ensure a consistent approach is used.
    • Partner alongside other departments within JTC and the HR team to help deliver a successful integration program for the incoming employees, considering both cultural and working practice integration.
    • Post-legal day 1, work with the HR Business Partners to continue to ensure a smooth transition for the employees.
  • Compensation and Reward
    • Provide assistance to the broader Compensation and Reward team on a range of compensation and reward activities.
    • Help with annual compensation and benefit renewal processes as required.
    • Undertake assigned project work as may be required.
  • General HR
    • Actively contribute and be a key member of a multi-jurisdictional HR team, building effective working relationships to ensure procedures are accurately followed, allowing for continuity of service during busy periods or times of absence.
    • Maintain the highest standard of confidentiality and security in terms of employee data and business information and consider the impact of GDPR on all activities undertaken.

    • Strong networking skills and the ability to collaborate across all internal business areas and external parties.
    • Effective verbal and written communication skills and the ability to collaborate across all business areas and present to senior management with credibility and confidence.
    • Strong ethics and discretion in the management of sensitive confidential information.
