Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Receptionist. As the first point of contact for visitors and clients, you will provide a warm welcome and ensure smooth operations at our front desk.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Visitor and Client Relations: Greet and welcome visitors and clients in a professional and friendly manner.
  • Communication and Administration: Answer and direct phone calls, take messages when necessary, and manage the reception area to ensure it is tidy and presentable.
  • Administrative Support: Assist with tasks such as filing, data entry, and scheduling appointments.
  • Information and Support: Provide information about our services and programs to visitors and callers, and handle incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries.
  • Confidentiality and Discretion: Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Team Support: Support the team with various tasks as needed.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Previous experience in a receptionist or customer service role is preferred.
  • Qualifications: Valid DBS Certificate completed within the last year.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong organizational skills and attention to detail, proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook), and ability to multitask and handle a busy reception area.
  • Approach: A compassionate and empathetic approach to working with vulnerable individuals.
