The Role

We're seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Night Chef to join our dynamic Kitchen Team at the prestigious Haymarket Hotel. As a Night Chef, you'll play a critical role in delivering high-quality dishes during the night shift, ensuring that our guests receive the best culinary experience possible, even during late hours.

Key Responsibilities

  • Menu Development
    • Collaborate with the kitchen team to plan and develop new menu items that showcase our culinary expertise and creativity.
  • Culinary Excellence
    • Prepare and cook dishes to the highest standards, maintaining consistency and quality throughout the night.
  • Kitchen Operations
    • Oversee kitchen operations during night hours, ensuring all health and safety regulations are followed.
  • Inventory Management
    • Manage inventory and ensure proper storage and handling of ingredients.
  • Team Collaboration
    • Communicate effectively with other team members to ensure smooth transitions between shifts.

Requirements

  • Culinary Experience
    • Proven experience as a chef in a similar role, preferably with night shift experience.
  • Creativity and Attention to Detail
    • A passion for food and a creative approach to menu development.
  • Organisational Skills
    • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Communication and Teamwork
    • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Problem-Solving
    • The ability to work independently and make decisions under pressure.
