About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Night Chef to join our team at Firmdale Hotels. As a Night Chef, you will be responsible for leading the kitchen team during evening shifts, ensuring the highest standards of food quality and presentation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the kitchen team during evening shifts, ensuring seamless service and high-quality food production.
  • Develop and implement new menu ideas, taking into account seasonal ingredients and customer preferences.
  • Collaborate with the Head Chef to plan and execute menu changes, ensuring consistency and quality across all outlets.
  • Manage kitchen inventory, ordering supplies, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
  • Train and mentor junior chefs, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Night Chef or in a similar role.
  • Proven track record of leading a kitchen team and achieving high standards of food quality and presentation.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices, with a focus on maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
  • Ability to work well under pressure, managing multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
