Job Title: Finance Functional Consultant

Ricoh UK is seeking a highly skilled Finance Functional Consultant to join our team in Watford. As a key member of our IT Solution Design team, you will play a crucial role in leading the solution design and implementation of key IT projects, coordinating with partner teams on configuration, testing, and training, and serving as a key IT point of contact for Ricoh finance teams.

Job Summary:

The Finance Functional Consultant will be responsible for leading the analysis, design, and oversight of the implementation and deployment of key IT projects in the finance area. This includes expanding and refining system requirements, design, and implementation of system changes to support process improvements, and providing information to support key decisions and recommendations to executive management on current and future business area processes and policies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the solution design and implementation of key IT projects in the finance area.
  • Coordinate with partner teams on configuration, testing, and training.
  • Serve as a key IT point of contact for Ricoh finance teams.
  • Assist in expanding and refining system requirements, design, and implementation of system changes to support process improvements.
  • Provide information to support key decisions and recommendations to executive management on current and future business area processes and policies.
  • Take ownership of specific projects within the finance area, managing communications and coordination with other internal teams and third-party partners to deliver to project timelines.
  • Develop and maintain technical and functional subject matter expertise on Oracle financial applications.
  • Participate in multi-cultural projects and teams to deliver shared aims and objectives in a timely and efficient manner.
Requirements:
  • Experience of working within a business finance function, preferably with Oracle financial applications.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze and understand data and information quickly.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Fluent in English, both verbal and written, with a second European language (French, Spanish, or German) an advantage.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft applications, with experience of using project management methodologies and approaches.
  • Ability to travel within Europe, as required.
