Job Title: Qualitative Research Director - Process Evaluations

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Qualitative Research Director to join our Behavioural and Communications Practice. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of strategic work, ensuring high-quality research and analysis, and developing relationships with clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to team planning and strategy, and skills and capability development
  • Lead and support project teams, acting as key contact for clients, facilitating workshops, and maintaining quality in analysis and reporting
  • Participate in new business activities, leading proposals and pitches, developing new client relationships, and planning and contributing to profile-raising activities
  • Develop relations with key clients to ensure satisfaction and optimal value from both their and our points of view
  • Work with other experts to develop our offer by drawing on advanced knowledge and skills, creating new solutions, and training the team
  • Line manage one or more individuals and support their work and development

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in qualitative research, ideally in the context of behavioural science and including designing and delivering implementation and process evaluations
  • Proven project oversight experience, with strong client handling skills and an ability to lead a research team to deliver excellent work to time and budget
  • Aptitude for innovative project design and the commercial skill to apply this to developing new opportunities for work
  • Like being with and advising clients, being a trusted partner
