About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Qualitative Research Director to join our Behavioural and Communications Practice at Verian Group.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record in qualitative research, particularly in the context of behavioural science, and will have experience in designing and delivering implementation and process evaluations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to Team Planning and Strategy: Collaborate with the team to develop and implement strategic plans, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Lead Project Teams: Oversee the delivery of projects, ensuring high-quality results, timely completion, and effective client management.
  • Participate in New Business Activities: Contribute to business development efforts, including proposal writing, client pitches, and profile-raising activities.
  • Develop Client Relationships: Foster strong relationships with key clients, ensuring satisfaction and optimal value from both their and our perspectives.
  • Work with Other Experts: Collaborate with colleagues to develop innovative solutions, create new opportunities, and train the team.
  • Line Manage Team Members: Support the growth and development of team members, providing guidance and mentorship.
Requirements
  • Proven Qualitative Research Experience: A strong background in qualitative research, particularly in behavioural science, with experience in implementation and process evaluations.
  • Project Oversight Experience: Proven ability to lead research teams, manage projects, and deliver high-quality results.
  • Commercial Acumen: Ability to apply innovative project design to develop new business opportunities.
  • Client-Facing Skills: Excellent client handling skills, with a strong ability to build trust and deliver value.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and motivate teams, with a strong focus on collaboration and innovation.
