Position Overview

We are excited to announce a new opportunity for an Inventory Control Specialist to join our dynamic team at CML. This role is a full-time, permanent position that plays a crucial part in our operations.

As an Inventory Control Specialist, your primary responsibility will be to ensure precise stock management, reconciling physical inventory with system records, identifying discrepancies, and addressing any non-compliance issues.

Compensation: Competitive salary package.

Work Schedule: 4 on 4 off, 6am-6pm.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain an accurate and up-to-date inventory record.
  • Resolve discrepancies between expected and actual stock levels as they arise.
  • Generate disposal orders and communicate with customers upon completion.
  • Collaborate effectively with warehouse teams to address stock-related challenges.
  • Keep a record of shortages for next-day deliveries and communicate this information to relevant departments.
  • Notify customers of any potentially short-dated stock and seek guidance prior to dispatch.
  • Handle customer inquiries regarding stock in a professional manner.
  • Assist in conducting stock audits.
  • Update records of empty pallets daily, including all ins and outs.
  • Ensure timely communication of product transfers to meet customer requests.
Qualifications:
  • Logical and disciplined approach to work.
  • High levels of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Proficient IT skills, particularly in spreadsheet applications.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and persistence in finding solutions.
  • Experience in stock control is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Effective communication skills.
