Job Summary

Michael Page Finance is seeking an experienced Employment Tax Specialist to join our team in London. As a key member of our professional services team, you will be responsible for ensuring regulatory compliance, advising on tax issues, and leading a team of tax professionals.

About the Role

This is a leadership role that requires a strong understanding of UK employment tax legislation and a proven track record of delivering high-quality tax advice to clients. You will work closely with our clients to understand their tax needs and develop strategic tax planning solutions that meet their business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive employment tax advice to clients, including guidance on tax compliance and planning.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance in all tax-related matters, including audits and investigations.
  • Supervise and lead a team of tax professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure the delivery of high-quality tax services.
  • Develop strategic tax planning solutions that meet the business objectives of our clients.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of employment tax legislation and ensure that our clients are aware of any changes that may impact their business.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing exceptional client service and communication.
  • Contribute to the development of our firm's tax strategy, working closely with other departments to deliver a holistic service to clients.

Requirements

  • A degree in a relevant field such as Accounting or Finance.
  • Professional qualification in Tax, Accounting or Finance.
  • Proven experience in a tax role within a professional services environment.
  • Excellent knowledge of UK employment tax legislation.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Exceptional client service and communication skills.
