Tax Audit Specialist

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Audit Specialist to join our team at Pro-Tax. As a key member of our tax team, you will be responsible for conducting thorough tax audits, managing a portfolio of tax engagements, and providing expert advice to clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-depth tax audits, identifying areas of risk and providing recommendations for improvement
- Manage a portfolio of tax engagements, ensuring timely completion and high-quality results
- Provide expert advice to clients on tax matters, including corporate taxation and tax planning
- Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement tax strategies
- Stay up-to-date with changes in tax laws and regulations, ensuring compliance and advising clients on implications
Requirements:
- Advanced degree in accounting, taxation, or a related field
- Professional certification in taxation (e.g., CTA, ACA)
- Minimum 5 years of experience in tax auditing and compliance
- Excellent analytical and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
