About Our Tax Division:
Our Tax Division is a vibrant and expanding team of specialists focusing on Corporate Tax, Human Capital, Indirect Tax, Private Clients, and Tax Disputes. We cater to a diverse clientele, with expertise in insurance, property, technology, international businesses, and high-net-worth individuals, delivering exceptional service with a personal touch.

Role Overview:
We are seeking a Senior Manager or Director to lead our Human Capital Team and oversee the growth of our UK employment tax services. In this role, you will:
  • Lead the employment tax service line under the mentorship of our Human Capital Director.
  • Execute a variety of tax projects while fostering robust relationships both internally and externally.
  • Collaborate with Corporate Tax and Corporate Finance Teams on due diligence reports for mergers and acquisitions.
  • Identify opportunities for business development, prepare proposals, and engage in networking events.
  • Contribute to our tax publications and provide insights on core employment tax matters, including PAYE risk assessments, CIS, remuneration planning, employment status, and HMRC disclosures.
  • Manage and deliver employment tax due diligence reports, assisting clients with P11Ds, PAYE Settlement Agreements, and expense policy monitoring.

Financial Management Responsibilities:
In this position, you will also:
  • Oversee work in progress (WIP) and billing for clients, ensuring profitability.
  • Encourage and participate in the training and development of junior staff.
  • Engage in both internal and external training courses and professional updates.

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess:
  • Proven technical expertise in employment tax acquired through practical experience.
  • A strong grasp of UK tax principles.
  • Experience in tax advisory and report writing.
  • The ability to convey complex issues to non-tax professionals.
  • Strong financial acumen and the capability to manage client portfolios profitably.
