Position Overview
We are in search of a dedicated and accomplished IP Litigation attorney with extensive experience in FRAND (Fair, Reasonable and Non-Discriminatory) issues to enhance our expanding team in London. This role involves significant participation in all phases of patent litigation, particularly concerning FRAND conflicts linked to standard-essential patents (SEPs).
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all facets of patent litigation cases, from initial advisory to trial proceedings and subsequent actions.
- Formulate and execute effective litigation strategies for clients engaged in FRAND conflicts.
- Perform detailed legal research and craft compelling written arguments.
- Maintain client relationships and provide regular updates on case progress.
- Collaborate effectively with senior attorneys and colleagues across various practice areas.
Required Qualifications
- Qualified Solicitor (England & Wales) with a minimum of 5 years of post-qualification experience.
- Substantial expertise in IP litigation, particularly in FRAND-related cases.
- Comprehensive understanding of UK and European patent regulations, including licensing of SEPs.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
- Capacity to work autonomously and as part of a team in a high-pressure environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
