Position Overview

We are in search of a dedicated and accomplished IP Litigation attorney with extensive experience in FRAND (Fair, Reasonable and Non-Discriminatory) issues to enhance our expanding team. This role will involve significant engagement in all phases of patent litigation, particularly concerning FRAND conflicts related to standard-essential patents (SEPs).

Key Responsibilities

  1. Oversee all elements of patent litigation cases, from initial consultations to trial proceedings and subsequent phases.
  2. Formulate and execute effective litigation plans for clients engaged in FRAND disputes.
  3. Perform intricate legal research and craft compelling written arguments.
  4. Maintain and nurture client relationships, ensuring they are updated on case progress.
  5. Collaborate effectively with senior attorneys and professionals across various legal disciplines.

Required Qualifications

  1. Qualified Solicitor (England & Wales) with a minimum of 5 years of post-qualification experience.
  2. Proven expertise in IP litigation, particularly in FRAND-related cases.
  3. Comprehensive understanding of UK and European patent regulations, including SEP licensing.
  4. Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
  5. Capability to operate independently as well as within a team in a fast-paced setting.
  6. Strong analytical skills and adeptness in problem-solving.
