Job Summary

We are looking for a talented attorney with a strong background in intellectual property litigation to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a broad range of experience in IP disputes and litigation, including trademarks, designs, and copyright. They will also have experience in a wide range of IP matters, including litigation in the High Court and IPEC, IP Office proceedings, domain name disputes, online enforcement, and pre-dispute advisory work.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation and conduct of IP litigation cases, including evidence preparation, interim injunction mediation, CMCs, costs budgeting, disclosure, and trial.
  • Provide advice on IP-related matters, including trademarks, designs, and copyright.
  • Work closely with clients to understand their IP needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Collaborate with other lawyers and professionals to achieve the best possible outcomes for clients.

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of post-qualification experience in IP litigation.
  • Strong academic record and high-quality training and experience to date.
  • Broad background in all kinds of IP disputes and litigation, including trademarks, designs, and copyright.
  • Experience in a wide range of IP matters, including litigation in the High Court and IPEC, IP Office proceedings, domain name disputes, online enforcement, and pre-dispute advisory work.
  • Hands-on experience of litigation tasks at various stages of cases, preferably including evidence preparation, interim injunction mediation, CMCs, costs budgeting, disclosure, and trial.
  • Some experience in complementary non-contentious IP work, i.e., drafting IP agreements (licences, settlement agreements, etc.) and an ability to deal with wider contract/tort issues.
