HMP Lewes functions like a self-sufficient community, requiring the efforts of numerous professionals to maintain its operations. As part of the Facilities Maintenance Team, your contributions will be vital, impacting the lives of prisoners, staff, and visitors alike.

In the role of Fabric Operations Escort, you will collaborate with a diverse group of skilled professionals, including Plumbers, Electricians, Carpenters, Painters, Cleaners, and Administrators, all dedicated to fostering a secure and positive environment. As a Ministry of Justice entity, we deliver essential services to HMPPS and are looking for a Fabric Operations Escort with qualifications that may include:

  • Background in building fabric or Hard FM environments
  • Current First Aid at Work certification
  • Level 2 qualifications in English and Mathematics
  • Strong knowledge of Health & Safety regulations
  • Exceptional organizational, time management, and interpersonal skills
