About the Role:

As a Clinical Mental Health Lead / Deputy General Manager at Barchester Healthcare Ltd, you will play a crucial role in supporting the delivery of high-quality care to our residents. Working closely with the General Manager, you will take on leadership duties in their absence and be responsible for ensuring that care standards are met.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead by example and monitor standards through regular audits, supervised clinical practice, and regulatory compliance checks.
  • Develop and deliver strategies to achieve goals and improve the quality of care.
  • Support the General Manager in managing the care home and making key decisions.
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure that residents receive the best possible care.
  • Conduct clinical risk assessments and manage safeguarding investigations.

About You:

To be successful in this role, you will need to be a Registered Mental Health Nurse with current NMC registration and a teaching/mentoring/supervision qualification. You will also need experience in helping residents with different health needs and a successful track record of managing safeguarding investigations and clinical risk assessments.
