Clinical Mental Health Lead Job Description

Main Responsibilities
  • Support the delivery of high-quality care to residents with diverse health needs.
  • Lead a multidisciplinary team to ensure regulatory compliance and high standards of care.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve care outcomes and resident satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with the Home Manager to ensure seamless leadership and decision-making.
  • Monitor and evaluate care standards through regular audits and supervised practice.
  • Support newly qualified nurses through preceptorship and mentorship.

Requirements
  • Registered Mental Health Nurse with current NMC registration.
  • Teaching/mentoring/supervision qualification.
  • Experience in managing safeguarding investigations and clinical risk assessments.
  • Strong knowledge of sales and marketing, budget management, and HR practices.
  • Compassionate, resilient, and determined to deliver quality care.
