About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Content and Digital Media Specialist to join our team at Smartbox Assistive Technology. As a key member of our marketing department, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive content strategy that showcases our innovative assistive communication technology and resonates with our target audience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and curate high-quality content for various digital platforms, including our website, blog, social media channels, and email newsletters.
  • Collaborate with our speech therapists and AAC specialists to create engaging content that highlights the impact of our technology on individuals with disabilities.
  • Research and write compelling stories about people who use our technology to communicate and achieve their goals.
  • Manage our social media presence, including creating and scheduling content, responding to comments and messages, and analyzing engagement metrics.
  • Plan and execute social media campaigns that align with our broader marketing strategy and drive brand awareness.
  • Produce regular reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide insights to inform future content decisions.
  • Support the marketing team with key projects, including event planning, video production, and graphic design.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the assistive technology or marketing industry.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to adapt to different audiences and tone.
  • Strong copywriting skills, with the ability to create engaging content for various digital channels.
  • Experience with content management systems, social media scheduling tools, and analytics software.
  • Basic graphic design and video editing skills, with the ability to create eye-catching content using Canva or Adobe Creative Cloud.
  • Good IT skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
