Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cover Supervisor to join our team at Co-op Academy Priesthorpe. As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising students across Key Stages 3 and 4 in the absence of a teacher, ensuring a smooth and effective learning environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise students in the classroom, ensuring their safety and well-being
  • Deliver lessons prepared by teachers, maintaining high standards of teaching and learning
  • Contribute to the development of learning strategies to enhance student achievement
  • Research, prepare, and coordinate resources to support teaching and learning
  • Manage classroom behavior, promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Assist with break and lunchtime supervision, ensuring student safety and well-being

Requirements

  • Experience working with children, preferably in an educational setting
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with teachers and students
  • Ability to use initiative, work independently, and demonstrate ambition and integrity
