We are seeking an experienced and skilled Senior Nurse to provide operational leadership and professional support to nursing teams within our Unscheduled Care Directorate.
Main Responsibilities- Provide visible clinical and professional leadership to staff to ensure service, quality, and performance objectives are achieved.
- Support the wider senior nursing team in delivering and monitoring nursing and quality strategies.
- Focus on a nursing service that prioritizes the care needs of patients and embodies the principles of prudent healthcare.
- Registered Nurse Level 1 and current NMC Registration.
- MSc in Nursing or equivalent experience.
- Relevant postgraduate courses and/or experience within specialties involved with the position.
- Evidence of continuous management development.
- Knowledge of quality improvement methodologies.
- Knowledge and understanding of current policy and issues in professional practice, compliance, standards, and the wider NHS.
As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work collaboratively with multi-disciplinary colleagues across the Health Board and Local Authority to maintain a high standard of efficient and effective care, professionalism, and service delivery.
