We are seeking a Compliance Analyst (MD's Office) to contribute to one of the most dynamic and demanding projects within EDF, as we spearhead the revival of nuclear energy in the UK.

Role Overview...

We are looking for a Compliance Analyst (MD's Office) to assist in the advancement of the Internal Controls discipline within the Hinkley Point C (HPC) Project and its associated functions.

The team is responsible for establishing the first line of assurance processes and initiating a systematic auditing cycle to ensure compliance, with regular reporting to HPC's Managing Director and Chief Financial Officer, as well as to central EDF UK.

Ideal candidates will have some administrative experience, ideally related to the development and/or implementation of compliance frameworks. A keen eye for detail and a curious mindset are essential, and comprehensive training will be provided.

Key Responsibilities...

Assist the Internal Controls Lead in developing the Internal Controls Strategy and framework. Support independent assessment reviews focusing on non-nuclear regulatory risks. Oversee the effective implementation of necessary changes. Prepare presentations summarizing report findings for the HPC Risk & Audit sub-committee of the GenCo Board. Coordinate aspects of external assessments related to the project. Provide support for various initiatives within the Finance Directorate. Offer assistance and coverage for other areas of the MD's Office as needed.

Strong teamwork and collaboration skills. Excellent written communication abilities (reports, presentations). High level of discretion, emotional intelligence, and resilience. Educated and experienced in a relevant field. Ability to generate innovative ideas and think creatively. Proactive approach with a focus on accuracy. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced team environment. Adaptability to the team's changing workload. Experience in a regulated environment is preferred.

Knowledge of the energy sector. Familiarity with construction or nuclear power station operations.
