About The Role

We are seeking a dedicated and ambitious Support Worker/Life Practitioner to join our staff team at Yaxley. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting young adults with complex needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work collaboratively with the staff team to safeguard our young adults at all times.
  • Participate in a wide range of innovative and exciting recreational events held within the home and wider community.
  • Assist with practical tasks relating to care, such as cooking and cleaning.
  • Create positive relationships with the young adults, maintaining dignity and respect at all times.
  • Meet the physical, emotional, behavioural and cultural needs of the young adults.
  • Continually maintain accurate and clear record keeping.
  • Ensure that the needs of the young adults are being met and regularly review and record any changes to their needs.
  • Actively contribute to the development of the team.
About You

We are looking for a candidate with a genuine passion for care and a strong team player who is resilient and confident to ask for support as needed. You will also need excellent written and oral communication skills, computer literacy, and a Diploma Level 2 in Health & Social Care or a willingness to complete this.
