Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care and Support Professional to join our team at Brook Street Social Care. As a Residential Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing individualized care and support to young residents, serving as a role model and advocate for their well-being.
Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality care and support to young residents, promoting their physical, emotional, and social development.
- Work collaboratively with a professional care team to ensure the delivery of exceptional care services.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with young residents, their families, and other stakeholders.
- Participate in physical activities and outings, promoting a healthy and active lifestyle.
- Contribute to the creation and implementation of individualized care plans, ensuring the needs of young residents are met.
Requirements:
- Empathy and a genuine passion for helping young people.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships.
- Good understanding of child protection issues and the development needs of children and young people.
- Ability to work alternate weekends and bank holidays, with a willingness to participate in overnight stays (sleep-ins on a rota basis).
- Flexibility and adaptability, with a commitment to delivering high-quality care services.
