Senior Buyer Opportunity

Our innovative global manufacturing client is seeking a seasoned Senior Buyer to join their Indirect Team. As a key member of the Global Services Team, you will be responsible for procuring a diverse range of indirect goods and services to support the business needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute sourcing strategies for your category spend area
  • Prepare, coordinate, and execute sourcing decisions for spend area
  • Manage the end-to-end procurement process, including issuing RFIs, tenders, commercial, and contract negotiations
  • Negotiate with suppliers to achieve competitive pricing and best commercial terms
  • Build strong working relationships with suppliers to discuss performance and drive continuous improvement
  • Meet with suppliers to review performance and build long-standing relationships
  • Work closely with colleagues to understand their short-term and long-term procurement needs
  • Implement a Preferred Supplier List
Requirements:
  • Experience working in a similar procurement/sourcing role
  • End-to-end procurement experience, including sourcing, tendering, and supplier management
  • Strong negotiation and commercial skills
  • Good communicator who enjoys building strong relationships with colleagues and suppliers
  • Ability to prioritize workload and manage multiple projects
  • Capacity to drive continuous improvement initiatives
