About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Material Scheduling Specialist to join our team at James Fisher and Sons plc. The successful candidate will be responsible for scheduling components and raw materials, monitoring and controlling stock levels on-site, and ensuring the smooth flow of stock from the warehouse to production areas.

Key Responsibilities
Monitor and control stock levels, including FIFO for all materials.
Conduct regular stock counting and stock taking activities to ensure accuracy.
Review and update Material Control parameters to optimize stock levels.
Identify and troubleshoot any discrepancies in stock levels or system issues.
Liaise with Project Managers, procurement, and production to ensure timely delivery of materials.
Troubleshoot any system issues for other departments.
Identify material shortages and escalate to the Purchasing Department.
Work with managers to plan and manage production tasks.
Control cycle counting and data entry.
Run shortage reports daily.
Liaise with production and procurement.

Requirements
IT proficiency in MRP, Excel, Word, and Outlook.
Experience in stores/procurement control systems.
Previous experience within a similar environment or industry.
Current security clearance or ability to pass.
Checkable UK work history.
Ability to live within a commutable distance to Inchinnan, Glasgow.
Team player with the ability to work independently and use initiative when required.
Ideally a FLT operator.
