Fraud Analytics Specialist Manager

Position Overview:

The role of the Specialized Analytics Manager involves overseeing the internal fraud analytics division within North America. This position requires collaboration with various stakeholders, including business units, fraud prevention teams, and control functions, to proactively uncover potential fraud risks and trends through sophisticated analytical methods.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct the internal fraud analytics team, ensuring effective collaboration across business, fraud, and control stakeholders.
  • Guarantee the integrity of internal fraud detection data by partnering with technology teams to establish optimal analytics platforms and data frameworks within the Citi Bigdata ecosystem.
  • Employ advanced data analysis methodologies to create intricate internal fraud detection systems, utilizing predictive analytics, pattern recognition, and machine learning techniques.
  • Serve as the primary analytics liaison for stakeholder engagement, communication, and assurance evaluations.
  • Assist the Internal Fraud Governance team in formulating and implementing analytical workflows.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in statistics, mathematics, physics, economics, or related analytical fields is required; a Master's Degree or PhD is preferred.
  • 5-8 years of experience in data analytics, modeling, and project execution is essential.
  • Proficiency in working within a Big Data environment and hands-on experience with a variety of traditional and open-source analytical tools.
  • Knowledge of machine learning methodologies, data visualization tools, and strong quantitative and analytical capabilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to link analytics to business outcomes.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong sense of intellectual curiosity and problem-solving aptitude.

Compensation:

The salary range for this position is between $125,000 and $188,000 annually.
