Cygnet Healthcare is pleased to offer a relocation package of up to £2,000 (Terms Apply) for Registered Mental Health Nurses (RMN) currently employed in the UK.


We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) who is passionate about providing exceptional care to join our new facility.


At our state-of-the-art hospital, you will be engaged in a full-time role of 42 hours per week, which includes a mix of day and night shifts, as well as alternate weekends.


This facility will feature two specialized wards: a 12-bed Psychiatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) and a 17-bed Acute ward, designed to cater to the acute needs of adults requiring immediate access to mental health services.


Your responsibilities will include:

  • Creating comprehensive written reports based on your nursing assessments and observations.
  • Collaborating closely with the management team to enhance service delivery, conduct audits, and improve quality standards.
  • Participating in training sessions and engaging in Continuous Professional Development (CPD) to expand your knowledge and promote nursing excellence.
  • Ensuring that individual care plans are thoroughly completed and maintained in collaboration with patients, their families, and other healthcare professionals, in accordance with NMC guidelines.
  • Administering medication safely, adhering to both local and national protocols.
  • Providing effective guidance and support to junior team members.


Essential qualifications:

  • Registered Mental Health Nurse with a current PIN Number.
  • Proficiency in maintaining documentation, conducting audits, and demonstrating integrity in your role.
  • Strong understanding of contemporary nursing practices.
  • Commitment to patient recovery, effectively monitoring, managing, and mitigating risks.
  • Compassion, resilience, and a dedication to empowering service users towards independence.


Desirable qualifications:

  • Capability to assume managerial responsibilities when required.
  • Previous experience in a PICU or Acute care setting.
