About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Staff Nurse RMN or RNLD to join our client's team as a Behavioural Care Specialist. As a leading provider of specialist support services, our client operates a network of hospitals, residential care homes, and supported living services, all aimed at making a lasting impact on the lives of those they support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality care for patients with acute mental health needs, working closely with a multidisciplinary team to assess and treat patients.
  • Participate in the assessment and treatment of patients, supporting and mentoring nursing students as needed.
  • Take on leadership roles such as Safeguarding Lead or Equality & Diversity Lead, engaging in continuing professional development and training.
  • Work alongside Ward Managers, Charge Nurses, Doctors, and Support Workers to deliver exceptional patient care.

Requirements
  • Valid NMC registration (RNLD or RMN).
  • Evidence of post-registration continuing professional development.
  • Excellent verbal, interpersonal, and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge of NMC standards, guidelines, and professional practices.
  • Understanding of the Mental Health Act and Code of Practice.
  • A positive attitude and commitment to change, improvement, and quality.
