Job Overview

In this role, you will play a crucial part in developing current and future vehicle programs and simulation methodologies, focusing on CFD setup, analysis, and correlation of aeroacoustic simulations.

You will work on various aspects of the vehicle, both internally and externally, at component, system, and vehicle levels, with the ultimate goal of optimizing performance and enhancing the user experience.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and refine current CFD capabilities, and contribute to the creation of new ones
  • Perform external and internal aeroacoustics CFD simulations, providing design recommendations throughout the design phase to advance vehicle programs
  • Present CFD results and recommendations to program teams globally
  • Correlate CFD results with acoustic wind tunnel data on prototype and production vehicles
  • Participate in acoustic wind tunnel tests in China, as required, to assist with correlation or program development
  • Establish and maintain procedures for performing various analytical wind noise processes
  • Provide support to other CFD areas as needed
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Aeroacoustics, CFD, Aerospace, or Aerodynamics
  • Experience in CFD within industry, with higher experience levels welcome and recognized
  • Hands-on experience with Simulia PowerFLOW and ANSA preferred
  • Ability to understand and/or write Python code beneficial
