About the Role

Wenham Carter Group is seeking a highly skilled Optimization Specialist to join our team and drive supplier performance excellence in our Manufacturing department.

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to work with suppliers globally, ensuring top performance, mitigating risks, and pushing boundaries to support life-saving innovation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive Daily Performance Follow-up: Identify gaps and root causes in supplier performance, and develop strategies to improve processes.
  • Develop and Deploy Supplier Performance Metrics: Create and implement metrics to optimize supplier performance, and lead supplier performance reviews to identify areas for improvement.
  • Lead Supplier Assessments and Risk Management: Manage supplier assessments, coordinate cross-functional teams, and lead crisis and risk management to mitigate issues.
  • Identify Best Practices and Support New Product Development: Identify best practices in supplier selection and support new product development through supplier engagement.
Requirements
  • Experience in Supply Chain Management: Proven experience in supply chain management and supplier engagement.
  • Strong Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach.
  • Leadership Skills: Solid leadership skills and a passion for driving supplier performance excellence.
  • Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of continuous improvement processes and tools, and ability to navigate SAP for reporting and data accuracy.
