We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pharmacy Technician to lead our Clinical Trials team at Royal Papworth Hospital NHS Foundation Trust.
Key Responsibilities- Dispense and accuracy check prescriptions for clinical trials and compassionate use programs
- Maintain and produce accurate documentation required for clinical trials
- Be responsible for the smooth initiation, running and close of clinical trials
- Implement and revise pharmacy clinical trials procedures
- Provide training and supervision to student pharmacy technicians and registered technicians working in Clinical Trials Pharmacy
- Deputise for the clinical trials pharmacists when necessary

Person Specification- Knowledge of pharmaceutical technical procedures equivalent to degree level acquired through training and experience.
- NVQ Level 3 Pharmacy Services, BTEC Pharmaceutical Sciences or equivalent
- Registered Pharmacy Technician with the General Pharmaceutical Council
- Accredited Checking Pharmacy Technician (ACPT) qualification.
- GCP trained
- Evidence of aseptic preparation knowledge.
- Awareness of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) inc Annex 13 labelling requirements
