Job Overview

We are pleased to announce an opportunity for a dedicated and skilled Physiotherapy Technical Educator to join our adult musculoskeletal physiotherapy unit. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in guiding patients to manage their conditions effectively, while also providing support to registered clinicians in their daily activities. This position will involve a mix of administrative responsibilities and direct patient interactions, both in individual and group settings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate within an integrated team to provide therapeutic interventions in a clinical environment, aiming to enhance patients' independence and quality of life.
  • Engage with professionals across various sectors, including health, social care, and mental health, to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care delivery.
  • Empower patients to take charge of their own health decisions, guiding them to appropriate community resources and supporting their caregivers in managing care-related risks.
  • Lead exercise classes and hydrotherapy sessions, as well as conduct individual patient assessments and treatments.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.
