Live In Support Worker

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Live In Support Worker to join our team at Active Care Group. As a Live In Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to our clients with spinal cord injuries, enabling them to live independently in their own homes.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide personal care and support to clients with spinal cord injuries, including assistance with daily living tasks, mobility, and medication management.
- Support clients with domestic duties, such as cooking, cleaning, and laundry.
- Assist clients with mobility and transfers, using appropriate equipment and techniques.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, their families, and other healthcare professionals.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of individualized care plans, in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.
Requirements
- Full UK driving license and access to a reliable vehicle.
- Experience working with clients with spinal cord injuries or similar complex needs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach.
- Compassionate and empathetic approach, with a commitment to delivering high-quality care and support.
