Job Title: Special Constable

Staffordshire Police is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join our Special Constable team. As a Special Constable, you will have the opportunity to make a valuable contribution to your community, provide investigative assistance, and be a vital link between the police and our communities.

About the Role

As a Special Constable, you will work alongside regular police officers and police staff to help keep our people, places, and communities of Staffordshire safe. You will have the same powers, uniform, and equipment as regular officers and will be required to volunteer a minimum of 16 hours per month.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide investigative assistance and support to regular police officers
  • Work with the community to identify and address local issues
  • Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge
  • Volunteer a minimum of 16 hours per month
Requirements

To be eligible for this role, you must be able to commit to volunteering a minimum of 16 hours per month and be available for training on alternative weekends. You will also need to undergo a thorough vetting process and meet the necessary standards for the role.
