Job Description

Job Title: Case Administrator - HMP Dovegate

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Case Administrator to join our team at HMP Dovegate. As a Case Administrator, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to the Offender Management Unit, ensuring the accurate and timely processing of case administration tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to the Offender Management Unit, including generating and safe handling of documentation relating to offenders.
  • Assist with the coordination of case administration tasks, including the completion of records and reports.
  • Communicate effectively with external agencies, including Police, Probation, Magistrates, and Crown Courts.
  • Attend and complete prison service training to enable the completion of case administration duties.
  • Demonstrate a positive attitude to change and flexibility in the workplace.

Requirements:

  • Excellent administration skills and experience of working in a busy office environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
  • High level skills with Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • GCSE passes in English and Mathematics.
  • Sentence Calculation Level 1 (after training and to remain competent).

Desirable:

  • An understanding of Offender Management Unit work.
  • Previous experience of working with offenders.
