About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) Specialist to join our team at Equal Resourcing Limited. As a SHEQ Advisor, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest standards of health and safety across all projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and conduct inspections to ensure SHEQ compliance across all projects.
  • Collaborate with project teams to deliver exceptional HSE standards, ensuring a safe working environment for all personnel.
  • Manage contractors and vendors to ensure they adhere to our SHEQ policies and procedures.
  • Conduct regular equipment inspections and ensure safe maintenance and risk management of all plant and materials.
  • Develop and deliver bespoke training programs and educational materials to enhance employee knowledge and skills.
  • Lead incident investigations and root cause analysis to identify areas for improvement.
  • Potential for shift work, depending on project requirements.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar HSE role.
  • NEBOSH Construction Certificate.
  • CSCS Card.
  • Knowledge and experience of groundwork and reinforced concrete frameworks.
  • Previous experience working in a HP environment.
  • Proven skills in incident investigation and root cause analysis.
  • Competent user of Microsoft Office - Word, PowerPoint, Excel.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • IEMA Certification (advantageous).
  • Temporary Works Coordinator (advantageous).
  • Experience in lifting equipment (advantageous).

What We Offer:

  • Basic salary £50,000 - £60,000 (dependent on experience).
  • 31 days annual leave (inclusive of bank holidays).
  • Death in Service (4X salary).
  • 5% Company Pension / 4% Employee.
