Floor Operations Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Floor Operations Manager to join our team at CH&CO. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the food service operations on your assigned floor and supporting the overall management of our core food services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the food service team on your assigned floor, ensuring that all food service caregivers are providing the highest quality standards.
  • Implement rigorous monitoring and auditing processes to ensure strict adherence to CH&CO policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate closely with the Food Services Manager to uphold the highest service excellence standards for patients and guests.
  • Manage the team of food service caregivers on your floor, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Ensure that all client expectations of food service are consistently delivered in line with the CH&CO brand.
  • Develop a good working relationship with the clinical team, particularly the Nurses in Charge, to gain trust and respect for the service provided.
  • Act as the first point of reference for all client comments and concerns, taking appropriate action to resolve and queries raised.
  • Proactively identify and implement strategies to minimize waste and optimize staffing levels.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in a hospital or healthcare setting.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
  • Knowledge of food safety and health and safety policies and procedures.
