**Job Summary:** We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Recovery Housing Support Specialist to join our team at Concept Resources. The successful candidate will provide flexible support to individuals experiencing problems with substance use, domestic abuse, and homelessness.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Implement housing support plans based on individual needs, ensuring a safe and stable living environment.
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop risk management strategies to mitigate potential harm.
  • Empower individuals to live independently by supporting life management skills, such as budgeting, cooking, and maintaining their dwelling.
  • Provide housing support to maintain the security and safety of individuals' dwellings.
  • Support individuals in managing their health and well-being, including access to advice and information on general health.
  • Plan service delivery contact flexibly to meet individual needs, adopting a proactive approach to engagement.
  • Signpost individuals to providers of specialist advice, such as CAB, welfare rights, and advocacy services.
  • Encourage and support individuals in maintaining good relations and avoiding disputes.
  • Take the lead professional role in crisis situations, supporting colleagues from other agencies as needed.
  • Provide assertive and persistent support to individuals and agencies to achieve personal goals and aspirations.
  • Record and maintain accurate records of individuals' progression, plans, and safety plans.
  • Ensure individuals have regular, up-to-date copies of their support plan and safety plan.
  • Record activity and results, accurately and promptly, to support project evaluation and funding requirements.
  • Attend regular supervision and commit to continuous professional development.

**Working Conditions:**

The successful applicant will be subject to a full DBS check against both adults and children. A Full UK Driving License and access to a vehicle are essential for this role.
