Relief Support Worker Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Relief Support Worker to join our team at Creative Support. As a Relief Support Worker, you will provide person-centred support to individuals with learning disabilities, complex needs, and challenging behaviour.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide emotional and practical support with personal care needs, household tasks, and medication
  • Collaborate with service users, their families, and involved professionals to ensure a consistent and coordinated approach
  • Support individuals to engage in a range of activities within the home and the wider community
  • Carry out general administrative duties and housing management tasks

You will have the skills and confidence to work within a positive behaviour support framework, accept responsibility, and develop as a skilled practitioner. You must be able to follow agreed guidelines and work positively within a consistent, mutually supportive team ethos.

This is a Relief Support Worker position, which offers flexible shift patterns, including evenings, weekends, and sleep-ins. Experience is essential for this role, and we encourage applicants to consider applying for a permanent position if they do not have prior experience.

Full training is provided, as is the opportunity to work towards a QCF Diploma in Health and Social Care. Benefits of working with Creative Support include a probationary bonus, pension contributions, 28 days Annual Leave, and company-paid enhanced DBS.
