As a Relief Support Worker, you will play a vital role in enabling our service users to experience a range of opportunities for personal development and maximise their quality of life.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide emotional and practical support with personal care needs, household tasks, and medication.
  • Collaborate with service users, their families, and involved professionals to provide a consistent and coordinated approach.
  • Support individuals to enjoy a wide range of activities within the home and the wider community.
  • Carry out general administrative duties and housing management tasks.

Requirements:

  • Experience in supporting individuals with learning disabilities and complex needs.
  • Skills in positive communication and engagement.
  • Ability to demonstrate unconditional positive regard for the people we support.
  • Confidence to work within a positive behaviour support framework.
  • Ability to follow agreed guidelines and work positively within a consistent, mutually supportive team ethos.
