Creative Support is seeking compassionate and dedicated Relief Support Workers to make a real difference in the lives of individuals with learning disabilities, complex needs, and challenging behaviors.

As a Relief Support Worker, you'll provide personalized care and support, empowering service users to reach their full potential and live fulfilling lives. You'll work collaboratively with families, professionals, and colleagues to create a supportive and enriching environment.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Deliver compassionate emotional and practical support, including personal care, household tasks, and medication administration.
  • Collaborate effectively with service users, families, and professionals to ensure a consistent and coordinated approach to care.
  • Facilitate engaging activities within the home and community, promoting social interaction and personal growth.
  • Contribute to general administrative duties and housing management tasks, ensuring smooth daily operations.
Your Skills and Qualities:

  • Proven experience in providing support to individuals with learning disabilities and complex needs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fostering positive relationships with service users, families, and colleagues.
  • A commitment to person-centered care, respecting individual choices and promoting independence.
  • The ability to work effectively within a team environment, sharing knowledge and supporting colleagues.

This Relief Support Worker position offers the flexibility to choose shifts that suit your schedule, making it ideal for individuals seeking a balance between work and personal commitments.

Full training is provided, along with opportunities to develop your skills and knowledge through qualifications such as the QCF Diploma in Health and Social Care.
