Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Virtual Manufacturing Engineering Engineer to join our Manufacturing Process Engineering Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and improving existing manufacturing systems, processes, procedures, and equipment to maximize safety, quality, and delivery, while minimizing cost of manufacture.
Main Responsibilities- Plan, coordinate, and implement efficient and cost-effective production methods for major sub-components and final assembly of machines.
- Coordinate with production, engineering, and quality assurance departments to establish and implement containment and root cause fixes for manufacturing issues.
- Implement best practice standard work on the shop floor to improve safety and quality and maximize efficiency.
- Develop ergonomic processes designed around Lean Manufacturing principles.
- Provide production support to production departments.
- New product introduction, design for manufacture reviews, establishing processes, and production launch.
- Desirable 3rd-level qualification (HND) in engineering or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a manufacturing engineer or a similar profession.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and in a demanding role, using initiative.
- Experience with PULSE software.
- Experience with CAD software such as SolidWorks, PLM, and Lantek.
- CAD/CAM + CNC programming experience.
- Ability to use metrics to analyze results.
- Strong passion for innovation and results-driven.
- Strong planning, prioritizing, and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
